Île-Perrot inaugurates new aquatic complex.

This is the new Île-Perrot Aquatic Complex. The facilities include; a semi-Olympic pool (25 meters); six training lanes; a beach entrance for easy access to the water; water games; a slide, and more. The complex was officially inaugurated on Saturday, July 8th, with a community event marking its opening.

Access to these facilities is free for NDIP residents upon presentation of a photo ID. Meanwhile, non-residents can enjoy the complex for $10 per adult and $7.75 for those 55 and over or under 18.

The City stated that their old pool and main building, where the filtration equipment was stored, had outlived their useful lives. Renovations could not be reasonably undertaken, and they found that the current site's location needed to be more suitable (limited parking, etc.). Maintenance was also difficult and costly.

Keeping in mind the elderly and those with reduced mobility or disabilities, a portion of the new facility has been designed using a beach entry to provide a gradual, risk-free entry to the water. The facilities are open Monday to Sunday from 12 until 8 p.m. at Parc Michel-Martin, 118, boulevard Perrot, L’Île-Perrot (QC) J7V 3G1. In case of a weather-related closure, you can follow the Town's Facebook page, and the pool's conditions are visible via a livestream.
