Île-Perrot accepting District 5 candidates for upcoming by-election.

Following District No. 5 Councilor Kim Comeau's resignation in July, the Town of L'Île-Perrot must fill the vacant councilor position in De l'Anse. There are six electoral districts in Île-Perrot. Any person desiring to be a candidate for this position may submit their application by Friday, September 15, 4:30 p.m. at the office of the President of Elections. See the business hours posted below.

Election day will be on Sunday, October 15, if more than one individual applies for this job. On October 8, there will be an advance voting day.

Office of the Election President:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 to 12 and 1:30 to 3 p.m.

  • Fridays from 8:45 to 12. Friday, September 15, the office will be open from 9 to 4:30.
