This year's Earth Day is Friday, April 22nd, 2022 and according to earthday.org this year‘s theme is investing in our planet. We must take the proper steps to help heal our planet and invest in the proper tools to help us do so.
We must also learn about our planet to know how to help its wildlife and environment. The town of Senneville is holding some events to educate its residents on Quebec's biodiversity, the insect world, trees native to our country and how to recycle electronics. Other easy ways to help our planet are following the 3 'R's; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
First, reduce the amount of plastic and one-time use purchases and reduce the amount you throw away. Second, reuse things that are still functional, and finally recycle by finding new purposes for old products.
