Festival de la S.O.U.P.E/Notre-Dame en Fête
WHAT? Municipalities, professionals, and organizations are invited to concoct THE soup that will be judged the best by popular vote, allowing them to win the Toque d'Or (municipality) or the Louche d'Or (professionals and organizations). WHEN? The event will be held from 12 pm until 4 pm on Saturday, September 10. Afterward, the Notre-Dame en Fête will offer a show at 7 o'clock, and a fireworks display at 9 pm.

West Island Blues Festival; Pointe-Claire Edition
WHAT? The Pointe-Claire Village will be hosting the West Island Blues Fest for the very first time. The lineup includes Soul Reflections, Inus Aso Reggae Band, Rob Lutes with Rob MacDonald, and Brian Greenway & the Blues Bus. All proceeds (donations, sponsorships, and drink sales) from the show will benefit 5 West Island organizations: Action Jeunesse de l'Ouest-de-l'île (AJOI), Alzheimer Groupe - AGI, LITERACY UNLIMITED , The West Island Women's Shelter, and the West Island Black Community Association (Wibca Montreal NPO).
WHEN? The popular blues festival that supports local causes will take place on September 10 from 5 pm-11 pm.
WHERE? At the corner of Cartier and Lakeshore, in Pointe-Claire Village.
Marché Palumbo's Back-to-School BBQ
WHAT? Marché Palumbo is getting ready for their September 10 community BBQ benefitting West Island Community Shares (WICS). Corn is on the house, and other food is available for purchase, with all the funds going to WICS.
WHEN? Join the fun and food this Saturday, September 10, from 11–3 pm.
Naturally Sainte-Anne
WHAT? This year marks the return of the residents' favourite event on Sainte-Anne Street! A day filled with activities to help you (re) discover the beauty of nature surrounding the city. A diversified program has been put together to please the whole family!
On the program: food and eco-friendly market booths, creative and artistic workshops, awareness workshops, shows, and entertainment!
In the evening, a show will be held at Lalonde Park to close the summer show series and end the day in style. The Wickerman Group will perform from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.

Hudson Porchfest
WHAT? Hudson Porchfest is a day of live music from everyone, for everyone. This is a FREE event! The Porchfest is a festival for everyone to bring their sounds to the public ear. Performers from 7-70 years old will perform their music on porches throughout this idyllic little town. Run by volunteers, talented artists who offer their music at no cost, and the generous townspeople who share their porches; it's a cultural collective for charity.
There will be donation boxes at each stage. 100% of the profits will go to charities of the artist's choice.

Art Exhibit by the Water at Stewart Hall
WHAT? Organized by the Lakeshore Association of Artists / L'Association des Artistes de Lakeshore and On Rock Community Services, Stewart Hall is hosting a 2-day exhibition and sale of artworks. Approximately 40 participating artists will display their original artworks in person and online. A third of the sales will go to On Rock Community Services. Entrance to the sale and exhibit is free.
WHEN? Saturday and Sunday, September 10-11, 2022, from 10 am – 5 pm.

WISTA's Mamma Mia
WHAT? The West Island Theatre Association (WISTA) is putting on six performances of the award-winning musical during the weekend of September 9 and September 16 at the Louise Chalmers Theatre (inside of John Rennie High School) in Pointe-Claire. This will be the Association's first performance back from its two-and-a-half-year live show hiatus. WISTA's 15th anniversary season has begun!

Parkinson Canada's SuperWalk
WHAT? SuperWalk is the largest annual fundraiser for Parkinson Canada. The event has raised over $40 million to fuel research, the creation of support tools, and advocacy for people living with Parkinson's. Please visit www.SuperWalk.ca to register or make a donation.
