According to police, the exit at Sources Boulevard was forced to be sectioned off this morning due to damage to a city sign and a bus shelter.
The cause of the damage? A car was driven off the road and over the overpass. The driver, who is said to have only suffered minor injuries, plummeted nearly three stories over the bridge.
The cause of this morning's events remains under investigation. At this time, speeding and alcohol have not been ruled out as possibilities.
