We’ve got yet another viral recipe taking the internet by storm. But to tell you the truth, we see EXACTLY what the fuss is about. This recipe combines two of my favorite things. Pasta, and chips.
It’s traditionally done in an air fryer, but if you don’t have one at home, don’t worry. I’ve included baking instructions as well.
What’s awesome about this recipe?
It takes no time at all
It looks like you tried really hard
It’s totally customizable
And of course, it’s super delicious
Opt-in for gluten-free pasta if your sensitive or intolerant, and you’re laughing all the way to the bank.
Serve with marinara or dipping sauce of choice and enjoy.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups of your pasta of choice – I like farfalle or rigatoni
1 tbsp of olive or avocado oil
½ cup fresh parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh garlic (optional)
Seasoning of choice – opt for chili flakes, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne for a spicier alternative. Or salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning for a milder approach. Have fun with this step.
DIRECTIONS:
Cook your pasta according to box directions – make sure your noodles are fork-tender but still firm to the bite
Pre-heat your air-fryer to 400F
In a large bowl, coat your noodles in oil and your spice and cheese mixture
Place noodles in the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes
Toss the noodles and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes
NOTE: Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook your noodles in batches
Allow to cool completely for ultimate crispiness
OVEN INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375F
On a lined baking sheet, spread your marinated pasta noodles
Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown
Remember, not all ovens and air-fryers are created equally. This may take a few rounds of trial and error for you to get your chips exactly as you like them. But we know when you do, you’ll have found your new addiction.
