It's officially March break and that means it's time to relax for some university students and lots of "Mom, Dad, I'm bored" from elementary students. Here's a list 14 activities for each day of the break.

WEEK ONE

Day 1

Do a fun online arts and crafts project with your kids presented by the city of Beaconsfield.

Monday, February 28th the city of Beaconsfield is going to host a hybrid arts and crafts activity that will also be available on Youtube at any time.

Day 2

Take the family for a fun day of skating at one of our many outdoor skating rinks in the West Island. Also, check out our article "Refrigerated Ice Rink in the Pointe-Claire village to extend the skating season" to learn about the new rink in Pointe-Claire.

Day 3

Stay inside and warm this day to do some baking! There are a lot of super fun easy recipes online! Take a look at one of our recipes, "3 ingredient fudge that will impress anyone this holiday season"

Day 4

Get out, pet, or take a walk with some fluffy alpacas at the Les Apagas de la Petite Côte in St Lazare. Check out our article "Cozy up with an alpaca this winter" to find out more details.

Day 5

If you're up for something to work your brain and work as a team with your family try out an escape room. There are two locations on the West Island, A/maze (Faireview, Pointe Claire) and Escaparium (2064 Trans Canada Route, Dorval).

Day 6

Pretend you're on a beach vacation and visit one of the West Island's pools for public free swim. Here are some options, Dollard-des-Ormeaux , Pointe-Claire , Beaconsfield, and Dorval.

Day 7

Help your kids burn off their march break energy by visiting Zig Zag Zoo at 980 Av. Saint-Charles, Vaudreuil-Dorion.

WEEK TWO

Day 1

Visit one of West Island new's favorite places to visit; the Ecomuseum Zoo. There are a bunch of fun animals to see! See what we have to say about the zoo "Real-life Bambi: A new addition at the Ecomuseum".

Day 2

If you're up for a calming and creative activity, be sure to try out ceramic painting. Check out the Ceramic Cafe in Dollard-des-Ormeaux to have a snack and paint a lasting memory!

Day 3

Jump around and get out all the craziness at a trampoline park in Kirkland. Check out iSaute for some fun activities everyone can enjoy.

Day 4

Take a rest today and have a relaxing indoor picnic with your children. Maybe have them make the sandwiches and snacks while you lay on comfy cushions.

Day 5

Bundle up in a warm snowsuit and grab your toboggan to go sledding at one of West Island's parks. Take a look at our article "Places to go sledding in the West Island" to find out where to go!

Day 6

Little bored? Try go-karting at Action 500 in Dorval. This activity may be for the older kids but there are other sections that the younger ones may enjoy!

Day 7

Finish off the March break with a movie and delicious popcorn. Visit the Cineplex in Kirkland and while you're there try out the "D-Box" seats that we've mentioned in our article "I tried the Cineplex D-Box and was on the edge of my seat...literally".
