This April, as we shine a light on the importance of understanding, acceptance, and support for those on the autism spectrum, the Miriam Foundation is inviting you to take part in something truly meaningful.
🧩 On **Wednesday, May 1st**, the Foundation will host a **special Open House** at the Gold Learning and Research Centre in Mount-Royal — a welcoming space where families, caregivers, professionals, and community members can come together to learn, connect, and grow.
✨ Visitors will enjoy:
✔️ Guided tours of the Gold Centre’s inspiring facilities
✔️ One-on-one consultations with dedicated specialists
✔️ Informative sessions on available programs and services
✔️ A moving art exhibition celebrating the creativity of neurodivergent individuals
This is more than an event — it’s a chance to explore the programs that are changing lives, meet the people behind the mission, and discover how we can better support neurodiverse individuals at every stage of life.
💬 *“By opening our doors, we hope to connect families with the resources they need and showcase the many ways we can help improve quality of life for those on the spectrum,”* says Warren Greenstone, CEO of the Miriam Foundation.
💙 As we continue to face socio-economic challenges and reduced public funding, the Miriam Foundation is also launching a **new fundraising campaign and endowment fund** — to ensure that vital services remain accessible for years to come.
Together, we can be part of a future where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.
📅 Mark your calendars: **Wednesday, May 1st**
