There is a recall on Kinder Chocolates due to the possibility of Salmonella

Ferrero Canada Ltd. is recalling certain chocolate products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. The recalled products were sold nationwide.


The products include:

  • Schoko-Bons, 200g

  • Happy Moments – Kinder Confections Assortment, 191 g

  • Mini eggs, 110g

  • Mini eggs, 182g

  • Mix - Egg Hunt Kit, 186g

  • Mix - 7 Easter treats, 116g

  • Surprise, Miraculous, 100g

  • Surprise, Natoons, 100g

  • Surprise, 100g

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency gives instructions of what should be done if these products were purchased.

  • "If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor

  • Check to see if you have the recalled products in your home

  • Do not consume the recalled products

  • Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased"
