The West Island Black Community Association (WIBCA) will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Saturday, June 25th, from 12 PM to 6 PM at the Marcel-Morin Community Centre.

WIBCA is an organization that fosters an educational platform to promote multiculturalism and support for all age groups. In addition, they operate a drop-in centre that provides counselling, educational support, and recreational activities for youths. The organization offers academic scholarships to promote further education, and online fitness and technology classes are given to seniors.

The 40th-anniversary celebration will feature black-owned businesses, live music from DJ DonSmooth and food in honour of WIBCA volunteers.
