The Récré-O-Bus will provide fun in Pierrefonds, this summer

The Récré-O-Bus will be visiting parks in Pierrefonds-Roxboro to offer children a range of free recreational activities this summer. Within the programming are sports, games, storytime activities, science experiments, and arts and crafts.

Under the supervision of an animator, children may also choose to partake in a game of soccer, basketball, chess, snakes and ladders, capture the flag, pickleball, tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, croquet, and kin-ball. In addition, there will also be trampolines, circuits, and skipping ropes, offering a chance to participate in different activities every time.

The program “STEAM Library” will join the Récré-O-Bus to offer a storytime followed by activities, crafts or science experiments related to the books. This service is offered for children aged 4 to 12 in partnership with the Pierrefonds-Roxboro libraries. It takes a multidisciplinary approach that will require children to be creative while discovering different concepts related to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

The animation teams will visit the Borough's parks from East to West in order. There is no registration required, and activities are offered free of charge. The schedule and times in which the Récré-O-Bus will be on-site at your nearest park are as follows:
