It is with great joy that the City of Dorval announces that the much anticipated annual free event, Dorval Celebrates, will be back on August 14. This year, there will be entertainment in all parts of our City! Surprise shows and roaming entertainment will pop up between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., in various locations such as the grounds of the Library and the SACC, various parks (Ballantyne, Pine Beach, Westwood) as well as the Dorval Village (between Lilas and Martin).
During this celebration, you will be swept off your feet by Stonda!’s performance of percussions and music from all over the world played on Brazilian instruments. You’ll laugh and move with the hip-hop-flavoured comedy duo Les percherons. You’ll enjoy the sublime circus artist Marianne Trenka and the eccentric gypsy-coloured fanfare that moves on an acrobatic bicycle, La fanfare des confines, just to name a few.
And to end the day, join us for a free outdoor show by the one-and-only blues-jazz singer and guitarist Jordan Officer who will perform at 4 p.m. at Pine Beach Park (reservation required).
