Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Section West of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) are trying to find the goods that were stolen during two separate thefts that occurred in the industrial parks of Pointe-Claire and Dorval between May 1 and May 16. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered to anyone who helps find the stolen equipment.
Summary of events
A first theft was committed on May 1, 2022, around 2:00 a.m. Suspects entered the property at 1590 Hymus Boulevard in Dorval and stole two trailers containing minerals and two truck tractors. Investigators found the latter two.
Two weeks later, on May 15, at around 9:00 p.m., on the property located at 6000 Trans-Canada Highway in Pointe-Claire, two truck tractors belonging to the company and five trailers containing a shipment of air conditioners were stolen. However, the two road tractors and three trailers were found and recovered thanks to the police investigation.
Call to the public
The SPVM is asking for the public's help to help the plaintiffs find their goods, four trailers, two of which contain minerals and two which include air conditioners. The SPVM broadcasts images captured by surveillance cameras to help identify the suspects sought.
