It seems like the only thing to do while everything is closed is to spend your days outside. So why not visit a farm to entertain your kids and hang out with some exciting animals!
Project PACE is a farm located at 1450 Montée Wilson, Ile-Bizard, QC, H9E 1K3 that was created in January 2014 by Edward Privorotsky, a former programmer who became bored of his 9-5 office job. He decided to create Project PACE which is an acronym for Permaculture, Art, Community, and Education. Fast forward a few years and the farm now has lots of animals to help teach the young community about farming and living alongside wildlife.
The farm offers petting zoos and farm tours where your children can pet, feed, and learn about the animals on the farm. They have a varied collection of animals including chickens, goats, sheep, bunnies, ducks, and alpacas!
The petting zoo and farm tour activities require registration on Project PACE's website. Both activities allow the children to pet and feed the animals but the farm tour is the only activity where one can walk with the animals. Both activities cost $10 per person but are open at different times during the day. The petting zoo is open from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and the farm tour is open from 10 am to 3 pm.
Visit their website https://www.projectpace.ca to find out more details and let us know if you'll be visiting the farm animals this winter!
