Shots Fired Overnight in Kirkland, No Injuries Reported
The Montreal police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred during the night from Monday to Tuesday in Kirkland, located in the West Island.
At approximately 1:25 a.m., the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) received multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots on Beaubois Street, near Timberlea-Trail. Upon arrival, officers discovered bullet holes in the garage of a residence. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident.
A perimeter has been set up by the SPVM to allow the forensic identification team to examine the scene, as investigators work to determine the exact circumstances surrounding this event.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Residents are urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
