(Kirkland) Shots were fired late Sunday at a home in Kirkland, a city located in Montreal’s West Island.
Gunfire rang out around 11:45 p.m. on Beaubois Street, near Timberlea-Trail.
Upon arrival, police found bullet impacts on a residence and casings on the ground.
“According to initial information gathered by officers, the suspect or suspects were in a vehicle. They reportedly fired in the direction of the residence before fleeing along Timberlea-Trail,” said SPVM spokesperson Véronique Dubuc.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
A security perimeter has been set up as the SPVM conducts its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
