Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue celebrates summer with a packed schedule of events

It will be an eventful summer for the City of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, and all are welcome to partake in the season's festivities!


Marché Ste-Anne

Days: Every Saturday

Location: Rue Lalonde (intersection of Rue Sainte-Anne and Rue Saint-Pierre)

Schedule: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sainte-Anne's Market is an appointment not to be missed. This is a unique opportunity to meet the local producers and artisans of the area while purchasing quality products.

Saturday shows at Lalonde Park.

Days: Saturdays from June 25 to September 10

Location: Lalonde Park, located at the corner of Sainte-Anne and Saint-Pierre streets.

Schedule: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Every Saturday evening in the summer, starting at 5 p.m., enjoy free live music in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue!

These musical shows presented by the merchants of Sainte-Anne Street take place in Lalonde Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., from June to September.

Free loans of paddle boards and kayaks

Days: Fridays, July 15 and August 19

Location: 21300 Lakeshore Street, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, H9X 2E3

Schedule: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

On three occasions during the 2022 summer season, the City of Sainte-Anne, in partnership with Paddle Mac, will offer the loan of watercrafts to City residents free of charge. These loans will be for one hour, and proof of residency will be required. Paddleboards and kayaks will be available.

In addition, a 20% discount* will be offered throughout the summer to residents who wish to purchase an individual or family membership.

Paddle Mac is located on McGill University's Macdonald Campus in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, directly across from the STM 211 bus stop.

Salsa by the water

Days: Fridays, July 29, August 26, and September 9

Location: Promenade du canal, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Time: Starting at 7 p.m.

Starting at 7 p.m. on Fridays, , July 29, August 26, and September 9, you will have the chance to sway to the beat of Latin music. The sessions will be held on the Canal Walk, where you will burn off some energy while enjoying the breathtaking view of the canal.

Wednesday concerts on the Boardwalk

Days: Wednesdays, June 29 to August 31

Location: Promenade du canal (in case of rain: Centre Harpell, 60 St. Pierre Street)

Schedule: 7:30 p.m.

Every Wednesday throughout the summer, enjoy free music performances on the Promenade du canal. Combine this outdoor show with a terrace dinner and you have the perfect summer evening!

Line dancing evenings

Days: Thursdays from June 30 to September 8

Location: Promenade du canal, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Schedule: Starting at 6:00 p.m.

Every Thursday from June 30 to September 8, on the promenade du canal, you will have the opportunity to come and dance in a group with Nathalie Blais, the line dancing teacher. Come and participate in these beautiful dance evenings starting at 6 p.m.

Street performers on the Boardwalk

Days: July 1 to September 4

Location: Promenade du canal, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Schedule: Fridays: 6: 30 to 8: 30 p.m.

Saturdays : 2 : 00 to 4 : 00 p.m./6 : 30 to 8 : 30 p.m.

Sundays: 2: 00 to 4: 00 p.m.

Each year, street performers offer a unique entertainment experience, bringing to life the Boardwalk with exciting acts and live music during the summer months.

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue's Street Performers Program aims to encourage street performers and emerging artists with an opportunity to display their talents.

Skating disco evening

Day: July 9

Location: Aumais Park, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Schedule: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

As you may have noticed, the City now has a brand new permanent skating rink. To celebrate its inauguration, come and groove to the sound of 70s and 80s music on your roller skates. A DJ will be on hand for this retro evening.

Free four-wheel skate rentals will be available on site for residents (proof of residency required). For non-residents wishing to borrow skates, a $10 fee will be charged. You can always bring your own skates if you have any. Protective gear is strongly recommended (helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, etc.). Free popcorn and non alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the evening.


River shuttle

Days: Saturdays, July 16, August 6 and September 17

Location: Promenade du canal, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Schedule: 11 : 00 a.m., 2 : 00 p.m. and 5 : 00 p.m.

Whether you want to discover historical attractions or simply to enhance your cycling tour, hop on board the river shuttle linking Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot. The shuttle will run three times during the summer near the canal promenade.

Outdoor movie nights

Days: Saturday, July 22: English film

Saturday, August 6: French film

Location: July 22: Aumais Park

August 6: Godin Park

Schedule: 7: 30 p.m. : Opening of food stands

8: 30 p.m. : Start of film

On two occasions this summer, you will have the chance to come and watch an outdoor movie for free. One screening will be in English and the other in French. A survey will be distributed in the coming weeks to find out your movie preferences. In addition, there will be food stands on-site starting at 7: 30 p.m. so you can pick up snacks to eat during the film.

Bring your chairs and blankets!

Garlic Festival

Day: Saturday, August 27

Location: 72, Sainte-Anne Street, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, H9X 1L9

Schedule: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The long-awaited Sainte-Anne Garlic Festival will be held on Saturday, August 27. On-site, you will find many booths, activities and more. You can even stop by the Aviation Museum to celebrate Family Day.

Naturally Sainte-Anne

Day: Saturday, September 10

Location: Sainte-Anne Street, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec

Schedule: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It's confirmed, the Naturally Sainte-Anne event is back.

It will be a day filled with activities to make you (re)discover the beauty of nature surrounding the City and educate the whole family about the importance of taking care of our beautiful Quebec flora and fauna. With a revisited program, the excellent nature festival is back in force this year.
