REM UPDATE: The "Anne" gantry has retired.

The gantry that was responsible for connecting the Anse-à-L'Orme station has completed its journey.

Since its start in April of 2018, the REM Light Rail has caused disturbances in traffic along Highway 40. This marks one of the larger steps in this project as complete.

The REM is going to include 26 stations that span over a distance of 67 kilometers that is expected to take on its first passengers in 2022 from the South Shore to its Bonaventure-Central Station. The other branches of service, such as the one spanning across the West Island will be slowly implemented in 2023-2024.

Stations across the West Island are mainly still under construction.

Check back in the future for more updates on the project.
