Dorval, May 18, 2021 - Starting May 22, the Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage (1850 chemin Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore) invites you to embark on a journey into the imaginary world of Quebec's fantastic creatures.
In this new exhibition, the Museum presents 10 legends that feature surprising fantastical creatures from the four corners of the province. Their stories are told through Bryan Perro’s writing and illustrated by the drawings of Alex S. Girard. This exhibition is based on the book Créatures fantastiques du Québec - L'intégrale, published by Perro Éditeur in 2013.
Have you ever heard of the Dorval creature? Have you ever seen it? Keep your eyes open! During your visit at the Museum, Alex, the cryptozoologist, invites you to create it! Follow him on a creative path lead by your imagination.
Author Bryan Perro is a prolific and award-winning writer known for his children's series Amos Daragon, which has been translated into more than 20 languages. He is also a publisher (Perro Éditeur), author, designer, television host and an artistic director of Culture Shawinigan.
