ABOVAS
Take the opportunity to be a volunteer companion or driver for seniors. All volunteers must have a vehicle, valid driver's licence and insurance. The volunteer hours are during the week Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. A person who is patient, attentive and likes to drive is best for this role.

Action Jeunesse de L'Ouest-de-L'Ile (AJOI)
Volunteer opportunities include animating groups and supervising activities, while keeping attendance. This volunteer position is open 5 days a week. On Saturday nights the volunteer can assist with sports and social activities at Agsport.org (Open gym). The volunteer should feel comfortable working with youth aged 12 to 18 years old.

CHSLD Pierrefonds Volunteer Association
Multiple tasks are available in this volunteer opportunity. The person can help out at the depanneur, have a friendly visit with the seniors as well as play games or go on walks with them.
Minimum age: 16 years old
Grandparents' Association of Québec
Help a senior by volunteering as a helpline operator. Answer calls and offer comfort or assistance to the population's most vulnerable. The volunteer will receive 5 or fewer calls for 7 hours a week. The volunteer will receive the calls at home through a central number.
Minimum age: 20 years old
Centre Bienvenue
Centre Bienvenue offers a volunteer role where participants can animate workshops and share their talents with adults with mental health problems. The activities vary from quizzes to cooking to music and dance.
Minimum age: 18 years old
Centre Culturel Stewart Hall Cultural Centre
This is a Volunteer library assistant role 2 times a month where the person will assist in the Reading and Reference Room/Library. They will also greet clients and keep the books/magazines organized. The position is filled on two Wednesdays out of the month from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Minimum age: 18 years old
West Montreal Re-adaptation Center
The volunteer will have various tasks to assist with such as tutoring, friendly calls/visits, animating groups, administrative work and helping with crafts sales and fundraising events. They must also feel comfortable working with children 0-12 or 12-18 years old.
Minimum age: 16 years old
Batshaw Youth & Family
The volunteer will have the opportunity to help children and youth in the foster care system virtually with their homework for two to three hours a week after school. The volunteer must be able to work with children 0-12 and 12-18 years old.

Centre de crise de l'Ouest de l'Ile
Centre de crise de l'Oouest de l'Ile offers an opportunity to volunteer as a workshop animator for adults suffering from mental health problems. The volunteer has many options of animation such as Makeup and hairdressing, yoga, theatre, aerobics, Cinema night, and more.
Minimum age: 18 years old
Alphabétisation sans limites/ Literacy Unlimited
The volunteer will assist in tutoring adults with reading troubles. They will go through training and must register at www.literacyunlimited.ca
