The Borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro has an exciting Canada Day lineup that it is eager to share with the community! The festivities will be bigger and better than ever, with days-long events for the whole family. The events will celebrate Canada's spirit of inclusion and diversity while honouring its history, culture, and achievements.
This is THE event of the summer, and an essential West Island party! The theme of this year's festivities is Beach Day! Attendees are invited to dress-up accordingly if they wish to surf the wave of Canada Day festivities!
From June 30 to July 3, 2022, at the Pierrefonds-Roxboro Borough Hall (13665, boul. de Pierrefonds), there will be an assortment of fun activities to choose from at the Ride Park. The park will be open between the times listed below:
June 30, from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
July 1, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
July 2, from 12:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
July 3, from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

On July 1, an event not to be missed is the Canada Day Parade. The festive lineup will leave from de l’Altitude High School (5060, boul. des Sources) at 10 a.m. and arrive at Pierrefonds-Roxboro Borough Hall (13665, boul. de Pierrefonds) at 12:30 p.m. The parade will be visiting different areas of the neighbourhood as it passes through, and pictured below is the route it will follow. Keep an eye out for its spectacular parade floats and cheer them on as they continue their journey!

1:30 to 2:00 p.m.: Grier Park
2:45 to 3:15 p.m.: Parc Cyril-W.-McDonald
4:15 to 4:45 p.m.: Cloverdale Park
The KUMPA'NIA troupe will be performing and cannot be missed thanks to their colourful costumes and impressive drumming inspired by Cuban, Brazilian and African rhythms. The daytime excitement continues into an unforgettable Canada Day evening! Here is the exciting itinerary, with free shows beginning at 6 p.m. on the main stage at the Pierrefonds-Roxboro Borough Hall (13665, boul. de Pierrefonds).
6 p.m.: Opening of the site
7–8 p.m.: Line dancing
8-9 p.m.: Zumba
9 to 10 p.m.: Papagroove show
Between 10-10:20 p.m.: Fireworks display
The Papagroove group will perform an energetic, explosive set at 9 p.m. Their particular style, which incorporates Afro-funk fusion along with pop, soul, and rock, will be a celebration of Francophone music in Canada. Watch the Encore clip, by Papagroove. Following their performance will be a fireworks display between 10 and 10:20 p.m. to end the evening. The fireworks will be set off behind the PCHS sports fields.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., food trucks will be on-site at the Borough Hall. Canada's beloved Beaver Tails will serve delicious pastries, and a gelato truck will offer refreshing treats (charges apply). Keep an eye out for Tigalo, the beloved Pierrefonds-Roxboro mascot!
