In a shocking revelation, it has come to light that the managers of two daycares in the West Island area have been implicated in a case involving the smuggling of ghost guns across the Canadian border. Stacy St-Pierre, aged 42, and Ruby Sharma, aged 45, were apprehended by the RCMP on July 14, 2023.
Despite initial release without charges, pending further investigation, they continued to oversee operations at daycares in Vaudreuil and St-Lazare.
However, seven months later, on the preceding Friday, the couple faced charges of possession for the purpose of weapons trafficking and the unauthorized import/export of firearms. Law enforcement alleges that they were involved in the smuggling of six ghost guns, which are notoriously challenging for authorities to trace due to their assembly from various parts or fabrication through 3D printing technology.
