A man was stabbed Wednesday evening by a group of individuals during a Pierrefonds-Roxboro home invasion. Police received a 911 call around 9:20 p.m. to report that a man had been stabbed in a home on rue Pavillon, not far from rue de Savoie.
“Suspects entered the victim’s home and injured him with a bladed weapon,” explained agent Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the City of Montreal Police Department.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, suffered injuries to his upper body, and his state of health was being assessed at the hospital late in the evening. The suspects fled before the police arrived. No arrests were immediately made.
