Major Closure on Highway 13 Due to Flooding in Dorval**

**Major Closure on Highway 13 Due to Flooding in Dorval**

Highway 13 remains completely closed in the Dorval area of Montreal due to significant flooding caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby. The heavy rainfall on Friday led to severe water accumulation in the Dorval tunnel.

According to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD), the highway closure, affecting the section between Highways 40 and 520, is expected to last indefinitely. The ministry stated, "The pumping station was damaged due to sewer backups, which has forced the complete closure of Highway 13."

Efforts are underway to establish a temporary pumping system to handle further water accumulation. Meanwhile, drivers are urged to avoid the area and opt for public transportation or remote work. Citizens are also encouraged to check the Québec 511 website before traveling for real-time updates.

Stay safe and plan accordingly!
