The Government of Canada has launched pre-budget consultations to hear from Canadians and experts across the country about how Budget 2021 can support Canadians through the pandemic and help us build back better. When COVID-19 is under control and Canada’s economy is ready to rebound, the government has a plan to make smart, targeted investments to jumpstart the country’s economic recovery and begin to repair the damage done by the pandemic. These pre-budget consultations are an opportunity for Canadians from across the country to share their ideas and priorities for how the government can best invest to create jobs, strengthen the middle class, and build a greener, more competitive, more inclusive, and more resilient economy. In this context, you are invited to join a virtual roundtable on Zoom on Friday, February 12 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. This will be an opportunity to share your ideas for a robust recovery. Should you be interested in participating, please send an email to francis.scarpaleggia.c1c@parl.gc.ca. You will be sent a meeting ID and password. You may also provide your input for the upcoming federal budget using the online survey at the following link: https://letstalkbudget2021.ca/pre_budget_consultations/survey_tools/questionnaire
