After a contentious battle for the mayor's seat in Pointe-Claire, the residing judge rendered a decision and rejected the application for a recount, which terminate the process. This decision cannot be appealed.
The Pointe-Claire business owner elected to the position of mayor, Tim Thomas, will therefore be sworn in the next few days, at which point he will officially represent the citizens of Pointe-Claire.
