The Montreal Regional Public Health Department launched a call for screening on Friday for people who have frequented places associated with cases linked to the Omicron variant.

The first target location is the Buzzfit Kirland gym located at 3240, rue Jean-Yves in Kirkland. People who visited this business on December 1st, 5th, and 6th between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. are invited to get tested.

People who have attended the Henri-Lemieux cultural and community center, located at 7644 rue Édouard, in LaSalle on December 4 between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. are also invited to go for a test.

Montreal public health invites the people concerned to go to the screening centers of the Jewish General Hospital or to the CLSC Parc-Extension to be screened.

These are the only centers in Montreal for which the laboratory is capable, for the moment, of detecting the Omicron variant.
