Halte-Transition: West Island's very first shelter

West Island News’ Rhonda Massad and Branden Desormeau took a short tour of Halte-Transition, the West Island’s very first transition shelter. Halte-Transition aids those affected by homelessness by providing resources that would allow them to find a permanent residence. Tania Charron gives us an intimate tour of the shelter, as well as explains the importance of the services provided by Halte-Transition to members of the community.

View the video below for an exclusive interview with Executive Director Tania Charron and people who have benefitted from the generosity of the volunteers at the shelter.

Halte-Transition is always asking for the generosity of the community. For ways you can help, such as ways you can donate and volunteer, please visit AJOI and Ricochet for more information
