Pointe-Claire, Canada – July 17, 2024** – The much-anticipated Grand PoutineFest is back for its 10th anniversary, and it's currently on its 2024 tour, bringing the best of Quebec’s iconic dish to fans across the province. Following its stop at Montreal’s Old Port, the festival will set up shop in Pointe-Claire from August 16 to 18, offering an unforgettable culinary experience.
“The Grand PoutineFest is all about celebrating poutine in all its delicious varieties. If you’ve never tried it, this is the perfect opportunity,” said Maude Couillard, the event’s organizer. “It’s poutine, everybody loves it.”
Taking place at the Clock Tower Quay until July 28 before heading to Pointe-Claire, the festival features six food trucks offering over 20 flavors of poutine. From classic versions to innovative twists like Hawaiian and Lobster, there’s something to satisfy every palate.
One of the standout offerings is the General Tao poutine, which chef Mathilde Mevel of The Smoking Dragon food truck describes as her favorite. “It’s the most famous one and it’s satisfying to mix it up with the chicken, sesame, and green onions,” she shared.
Attendees are in for more than just great food. The festival’s vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by musical performances from artists like Freddie James and Lili-Ann De Francesco. Additionally, each Sunday features special activities for children, including coloring spaces, balloon sculptures, and a fully free inflatable fun zone.
“I love that each poutine is unique and the energy here is amazing,” said one festival-goer.
Entry to the festival is free, and it operates from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
After Pointe-Claire, the festival will continue its tour to Rosemere (August 2 to 4), Joliette (August 9 to 11), and more locations. For the complete schedule and additional information, visit [legrandpoutinefest.ca](http://legrandpoutinefest.ca).
