Yesterday marked the beginning of Autism Awareness Month and the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Miriam Foundation, as the Gold Centre opened its doors to the public for an enlightening Open House event. Nestled in the heart of our community and inaugurated in 2021, the Gold Centre serves as a beacon of support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disability (ID).
Visitors were warmly welcomed to explore the state-of-the-art facilities and learn about the diverse range of programs and services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals with ASD and ID. From educational initiatives to therapeutic interventions, the Gold Centre offers a comprehensive array of supports designed to foster growth, independence, and inclusion.
