First Beams of the New Bridge Are in Place! 🏗️
The construction of the new bridge has reached a major milestone with the installation of its first beams! Transported by an oversized truck, these massive structures made their way from the storage site to the construction zone with impressive precision.
Once on-site, a specialized piece of equipment known as the “multi-pattes” carefully moved the beams into position before they were lifted and placed using standard cranes.
With limited space on the worksite and a total of 845 beams to install, deliveries will be staggered, making this an even greater challenge for the teams on the ground.
