Family activities throughout next weekend around Pointe-Claire.

Next weekend there will be two family days in Pointe-Claire, with lots of free activities, celebrating Public Works Day and Stewart Hall's Cultural Rendez-Vous.

Activities in honour of Public Works Day will be held on Saturday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 50 Terra-Cotta Avenue. The day serves as a way for families to learn more about public works machinery and various trades. Here's what's on the program:

  • Presentation of vehicles

  • Arboriculture kiosk

  • Tree planting workshop

  • Scavenger hunt - Collect all the pins

  • Craft workshop

  • Inflatable games

  • Face painting

  • Free play area

  • Please bring your reusable water bottle.

Stewart Park's annual Cultural Rendez-Vous event is for kids and adults to celebrate the relationship between the arts and nature. On May 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be:

  • exhibitions,

  • art workshops,

  • skills demonstrations,

  • a café-terrace,

  • a circus,

  • face painting,

  • music and street performances,

  • storytelling, and family shows, all near the picturesque waterfront Stewart Hall.
