Dorval's "Community Treasure Hunt" gives unwanted items a new home.

Writer: West Island NewsWest Island News

On Saturday, May 6, Dorval will once again hold its popular Community Treasure Hunt. In an effort to promote the reuse and recycling of household items, residents are encouraged to place their unwanted yet functional and useful items curbside by 9 a.m. on May 6 for free pickup by other members of the community. It is a garage sale without permits and price tags – all items are given away!

Registration

To better serve “treasure hunters,” citizens wishing to participate in this event can register their addresses to create a virtual map of participating residences (updated regularly). This allows people to easily find places where treasures can be picked up.

Send your home address to treasurehunt@ville.dorval.qc.ca or call 514 633-4040.

→ REGISTRATION DEADLINE: APRIL 30
