A bold project has just begun in Dollard-des-Ormeaux: a new exercise facility will be located in the City's most cherished park, Centennial Park. As residents enter the park from the Civic Center entrance, they will find a pathway leading them to equipment for warm-up, strength training, cardio, balance, stretching, and relaxation exercises. The equipment will be arranged in four distinct areas so that several individuals can access it simultaneously. In addition, the equipment will be accessible to users with reduced mobility. The structures will be arranged in harmony with the natural and exceptional environment of Centennial Park. Near them, picnic and rest areas will be installed, inviting families to stay in the park for a while longer. The mayor is delighted to offer these accessible and inclusive exercise facilities that promote the health and well-being of residents in the ideal environment that is Centennial Park.

"Council is proud of this creative and innovative project for the City, which will provide a peaceful space for members of our community to gather and work out safely. It is part of our strategic parks plan to keep residents active while meeting the diverse, growing needs in our community.”
- Alex Bottausci, Mayor of Dollard-des-Ormeaux
