CONFIRMED: Hawa to run for re-election this fall.

West Island News can confirm that Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue Mayor, Paola Hawa will be running for another term this fall.

When asked during an interview this afternoon by WIN reporter Kris Artuso if she would be running for re-election, Hawa answered with an enthusiastic"Of course I will!" She noted that "There's still a lot of work to do..."

Hawa was first elected as councillor for the City of Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue in 2009. She later won the city's mayoral election in 2013. She has been mayor for the past 7 years.
