Here's a list of Christmas tree collection dates by municipality or borough to properly recycle your natural tree!
Baie-D'Urfé
Place your Christmas trees, stripped of all decorations and with the base facing the road, on the morning of January 8 before 7 a.m. or the day before collection after 8 p.m. They will be collected during the week.
Beaconsfield
Bring your tree to the Public Works Drop-off Site, located at 300 Beaurepaire, during opening hours—Monday to Friday: 7:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
OR
During January, leave your tree in the designated area at one of the parks listed below. It is forbidden to place them at the curb during winter.

Dorval
The City will hold special pickups on January 10 and 17 to collect Christmas trees placed in front of houses, by the curb (not ON the street).
For your tree to be picked up, all lights, decorations, and nails must be removed.
Hudson
The 2024 collection is on Monday, January 8.
The collection is done:
Over approximately one week
May be extended if weather conditions are difficult (freezing rain, etc.)
The trees are shredded on-site and then composted
The following trees will NOT be picked up
Trees in ice or snow (because they extend the collection time)
Trees in a bag (fabric, plastic, or other)
Natural trees adorned with decorations, including tinsel
Trees with a base or support
Synthetic trees
Île-Perrot
Christmas tree collection begins January 8 (continuous for several days). Trees must be placed on the curb by Monday morning (the 8th).
L'Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève
Christmas tree collections: January 10 and 17.
- Remove all decorations.
- Do not put the tree in a plastic bag.
- Place it with the base facing the street.
- Make sure it is not covered with snow or obstructing the sidewalk.
- When snow removal is scheduled, remove it from the road to facilitate snow loading.
Kirkland
Between January 7 and 17, place your tree with its trunk facing the street and remove all ornaments so that it may be properly recycled.
Pierrefonds
The collection will take place on Wednesday, January 10. The deposit time is between 9 p.m. the day before and 7 a.m. the same day.
𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁:
➢ Remove all decorations from the tree.
➢ Do not place the tree in a plastic bag.
➢ Place the tree with the base facing the street.
➢ Make sure the tree is not covered in snow and is not obstructing the sidewalk.
➢ When snow removal operations are scheduled, make sure the tree is not obstructing the road to facilitate loading.
Pincourt
Home Christmas tree collection will take place the week of January 8.
Be sure to remove all decorations and any wrapping. Place the trunk of the tree towards the street.
Pointe-Claire
Christmas trees will be collected on Wednesday, January 17, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All natural trees (fir, pine, spruce, birch) are accepted. Participating in this collection ensures that your tree will be converted into wood chips or compost instead of ending up in a landfill site.
A few rules
The trunk diameter must not exceed 13 centimeters (5 inches).
Tree height must not exceed 2.5 meters (8 feet).
Decorations must be removed.
Trees must be placed horizontally at curbside (not upright in the snow).
Saint-Lazare
The natural Christmas tree collection will start on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟴. Depending on weather conditions, collection may take up to 3 weeks.
𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄:
Place it in your driveway, with the foot of the tree facing the street;
On the left-hand side, when facing the house,
Remove all decoration, stand, or support;
Drop it at the latest by 7 a.m. on the morning of the collection day;
Keep it protected from bad weather whenever possible.
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
Christmas trees will be collected during the week of January 8 to 19.
Trees must be stripped of all decorations (including hooks and icicles).
Trees must be deposited at the curb in front of the residence
Trees must not obstruct the sidewalk.
Vaudreuil-Dorion
Christmas tree collection will take place from January 8 to 19. Trees must be deposited at the curb before January 7. They can also be brought to the Maison-Valois Park or the municipal garage (205, rue Valois) on the same dates.
