Brian Greenway, Studio Balletvolution choreograph video to unreleased track "Holiday"

Brian Greenway, of April Wine, has spent several decades touring as a professional musician and influential guitarist with an impressive amount of multi-platinum album successes under his belt. Pointe-Claire's own, Studio Balletvolution was approached by Brian Greenway to collaborate on a video project related to the current pandemic utilizing his fitting song, "Holiday".

The previously unreleased song, "Holiday" by Brian Greenway sends a comforting message of hope, optimism, and inspiration in a time when countless people are facing unprecedented struggles. Studio Balletvolution's video hopes to further this beautiful message through the power of a well-choreographed dance performed by Jess Cumberbirch, professional ballet and contemporary dancer.

Do these settings look familiar? This uniquely Canadian video features climactic choreography filmed at Edgewater Park in Pointe-Claire's Village.

This video was entirely conceived and executed during Quebec's lockdown over several months. It goes to show the community how beauty and light can be found in even the darkest of times! West Islanders may be in quarantine, but we are still connected!

"This video is our way of connecting with our students, friends, and community during these difficult times," reads Studio Balletvolution's Facebook page.
