Annual Valentine's Ball raises $680 000 net for palliative care.

The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence celebrated a fundraising milestone Friday following Mardi-Gras themed festivities at the Pavillon sur le Lac of Château Vaudreuil. Their 25th Annual Valentine's Ball succeeded in raising $680,000 net. The generosity of approximately 450 attendees, sponsors, and supporters are credited for this crucial source of funding allowing for the superior palliative care provided by the Residence.

The gourmet dinner was followed by a surprise duet performance by Barry and Brittany Kennel and an evening of dancing with The Fundamentals. During the celebrations, the Residence's Co-Founder Russell Williams was memorialized to recognize his indispensable role in the establishment and prosperity of the Residence.


Dale Weil, Executive Director of the Residence, expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Tonight, we celebrate our remarkably supportive community, the benevolence of our donors, the dedication of our sponsors, and the tireless efforts of our volunteers and employees who embody the Residence’s mission, providing quality palliative care for patients and their families day-in and day-out. The resonance of support from our community is truly profound, and we are sincerely thankful for their commitment.”
