A man was taken to hospital after being hit by at least one firearm projectile early Friday night in Pointe-Claire.

According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the 52-year-old man is expected to make a full recovery.

It appears that around 1:15 a.m. a conflict broke out between a group of people at the intersection of Donegani and King avenues, a residential zone. After opening fire, the suspects reportedly fled on foot.
