Although we may not want to admit it, the colder weather is officially upon us, and with that so is the holiday season. Christmas lights have begun to be strung, carols are being played in shopping malls, and children of all ages are beginning to prepare their wishlists.

With that, we decided to bring you this quick, easy, three-ingredient fudge recipe that is completely customizable to any taste and thrown together in a few short minutes.

What we love about this recipe is you can really cater it to whoever you're making it for. If your mother loves peanut butter, try a milk chocolate and Reese's peanut butter cup combo. If your sister dark chocolate, try pairing this recipe with sea salt.

This recipe makes an excellent addition to any holiday meal and really makes you look like a whiz in the kitchen. Continue below for the complete recipe!

Ingredients:

400g of white chocolate - you could use chocolate chips, chocolate discs, or a good old-fashioned chocolate bar.

NOTE: You can also swap this for milk or dark chocolate if you so choose.

1 can sweetened condensed milk

Approximately 15 oreo cookies, broken into small pieces

NOTE: Again, you could really add anything here. Mini eggs, M&M's, Caramilk, whatever your vice is.

Directions:

Line a square baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil

  • Add the chocolate and sweetened condensed milk to a microwave-safe bowl

  • Microwave at 20-second intervals, stirring in between until the mixture is combined

  • Spread half the Oreos across the bottom of the tray

  • Pour mixture over the Oreos, covering evenly

  • Place the remaining Oreos across the top of the mixture

  • Tap the tray to allow the mixture to flatten

  • Place tray in fridge for a minimum of 5 hours to harden
